Regulatory Notice
Axis operates as a holding company with equity interests and business investments and provides business and corporate transaction advisory services. In performing these functions, the company and its team do not provide services or conduct activities requiring prior registration with or authorization from the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (Comissão de Valores Mobiliários — CVM) or the Brazilian Central Bank (Banco Central do Brasil — BCB).
This scope excludes professional management of third-party securities portfolios, individualized advice on investments in the securities market, and securities intermediation or distribution. Axis also does not conduct activities reserved to financial institutions, such as deposit-taking and financial intermediation. References to investments, portfolios and advisory services on this website concern the business and corporate activities described and do not constitute an offer of these regulated services.
Registration and authorization requirements depend on the actual nature of each activity and transaction under applicable law, including Brazilian Laws No. 6,385/1976 and No. 4,595/1964 and CVM and BCB regulations. If a transaction requires services subject to these requirements, those services must be performed exclusively by institutions or professionals duly authorized for the relevant service. Axis’s participation will remain within its stated scope, without replacing the authorized provider or displacing regulatory requirements applicable to the transaction.
Axis works with professional business administrators and real estate brokers duly registered with the Rio de Janeiro Regional Council of Administration (Conselho Regional de Administração do Rio de Janeiro — CRA-RJ) and the Rio de Janeiro Regional Council of Real Estate Brokers (Conselho Regional de Corretores de Imóveis do Rio de Janeiro — CRECI-RJ), respectively. These professionals work alongside or on behalf of Axis and its affiliates, within their professional qualifications, permitted scope of practice and the terms of each engagement.
