Venture

Venture capital and technology are Axis's current priorities. We invest in early-stage companies and applications of artificial intelligence in sectors we know well. Here is what we look for, how we work with founders and how to present a company.

What We Look for

We look for early-stage technology companies operating in Brazil or founded by Brazilians abroad, solving a concrete problem in sectors Axis knows well: business services, operations and transactions, real estate, construction and related areas. We are interested in products that have already been presented to customers, even a small number, and founders who can explain on one page what they sell, to whom and at what price. These sectors are a preference, and we give opportunities outside them the same attention.

Our active focus is artificial intelligence applied to processes Axis and its partners handle every day: contract and asset analysis, customer service and digital services at scale, and operations and asset management. A company that solves one of these problems may find in Axis an investor, a first customer and a setting in which to test its product.

How We Work with Founders

Axis makes initial and follow-on investments, independently or alongside other investors. It prefers minority stakes, with information rights and a governance role when founders want an active partner. Alongside capital, it brings contracts and customers in its sectors, corporate structuring by partners with decades of negotiating experience, and experience in buying and deploying technology at scale. These investments carry high risk and the potential for substantial returns when a company succeeds. Axis sizes each investment within the overall portfolio.

The process begins with a presentation and a conversation with the partners. Within a few weeks, the company receives a clear answer on Axis's interest in moving forward.

How to Present a Company

Send a presentation of no more than ten pages to contato@axis.com.br, covering the problem, product, current customers, team and intended use of capital. Every message is answered.
